My Very First…

After doing a deep clean on a catamaran β›΅ today (I own a cleaning business, Yachts Maid Ready, LLC), I rushed over to our friend’s house to retrieve my very first David Austin English rose! I had it shipped there because our boat neighbor friend said I could keep it there since my last beloved rose went overboard last Summer 😦 (I live on a sailboat). The rose is currently in bare root form, but I potted ‘Lady Emma Hamilton’, for she will grow to be deliciously fragrant tangerine colored rose with hints of pinks and yellows in her petal edges along with Allysum, a small white flowering plant around the base. It was a good day. 🌹 #davidaustinroses #everbloomingroses #rose

How LEH will look soon!

I’ve Fallen In Love With A Lady

‘Tis true, the ever-blooming Lady Emma Hamilton has stolen this gardener’s heart. Despite having little to no real estate left to toil, my heart yearns for this English beauty best described as sunset in a rose. Her shades of apricot, coral, and petals of pink invite me into a sacred romance. If only I discovered David Austin’s roses sooner!

Thankfully, this abundantly fragrant rose can thrive in a hospitable pot or even as a glamorous tree rose. However she blooms, her presence invokes happiness. Β Soon, this radiant rose will be united with my beloved family of roses where her radiance will be warmly welcomed! Just don’t tell my husband. πŸ˜‰
